Fasting according to the Buchinger/Lützner method

Fasting according to the Buchinger/Lützner Method is based on the principles of therapeutic fasting developed by German physician Dr. Otto Buchinger (1878 - 1966) and carried forward by Dr. Hellmut Lützner (1928 - 2020). In this type of fasting, we abstain from solid food for a limited period of time (NOT a zero diet!). Instead, we consume water, herbal tea, vegetable broth and freshly squeezed juices, lemon and honey.

We start with a preparation phase, the relief days, during this time we prepare our body, mind and soul for fasting in peace. Afterwards we go relaxed into the chamfering time and in the connection into the structure phase. The build-up phase - almost the most important phase - takes place slowly and gently, in order to get the body used to solid food again, and to maintain the positive effects of fasting afterwards, as well as to maintain a "happy gut".

Positive effects

Fasting is something completely natural in which the body switches from energy program 1 - supply from the outside - to energy program 2 - supply from the inside - and thus the body nourishes itself from its depots. The fasting metabolism takes effect and the inner physician is activated.

 

The body's own healing powers are mobilized and clarity and balance are created in the body's functions.
